Nicholas Sterling Gray is building a career that combines health care experience with an interest in technology. His professional journey began at VA Long Beach Medical, where he worked as a receptionist/medical care assistant. In that role, Nicholas Sterling Gray served as a key point of contact for patients coming to the facility, while also supporting health care providers with both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
At the Long Beach, California-based medical center, Mr. Gray responded to inquiries, coordinated appointments, maintained electronic health records, and assisted nurses and medical staff during examinations and minor procedures. He also prepared laboratories and patient examination rooms and monitored inventory of medical supplies to keep the medical center operating optimally.
After working at VA Long Beach Medical, Mr. Gray earned an associate of arts in cybersecurity and computer science from Chaffey Community College. During his studies, he was recognized as a high protagonist in CIS-1, and also completed Accounting 1. Outside of work and academics, he enjoys baseball, basketball, tennis, and racquetball, appreciating the strategy and fitness the sports require.
